Here’s what the booth is serving up this festival season:
Food:
- Dumplings Trio — Assortment of pan-fried chicken, pork, and vegetable dumplings with house-made sweet-and-spicy sauce (30th item) (Introduced in 1996) (NEW)
- Beijing Zhajiang Noodles with stir-fried minced beef, cucumber, chili, and carrots in a savory douban sauce
- Smoked Duck Bao Bun with pickled cucumber, scallion, and hoisin sauce
Drinks:
- Mango-Peach Bubble Tea — Green tea, mango and peach syrups, and white boba (non-alcoholic)
- Frozen Strawberry-Jasmine Cocktail — Light rum, Jasmine tea, and strawberry syrup
- Baijiu Punch — Baijiu spirit, lychee syrup, soda water, and piña colada mix
- Hainan Prosperity — Tequila, vodka, Minute Maid Orange Juice, and mango syrup
- Honghe Rice Lager Draft Beer (NEW)

While we’d love to try everything (and probably will by the end of the festival season), we’re only here for one thing (or three things, more accurately).
Review
Today, we opted for the Dumplings Trio for $7.35.
The trio is an assortment of pan-fried chicken, pork, and vegetable dumplings with house-made sweet-and-spicy-sauce. (This is a 30th anniversary-inspired item, and was introduced back in 1996!)

This was a very popular item during our stop.
The dumplings share the house-made sauce, which has a kick, but certainly doesn’t qualify as truly spicy. It was slightly sweet, tasting more like duck sauce mixed with a bit of hot sauce.

The pork dumpling was our favorite, but they all were cooked and seasoned well, with plenty of flavor.
