Meet the Cast Members Behind Walt Disney World’s Halloween Transformation
There is no better place to celebrate fall and the spooky season than Walt Disney World! And Halloween has officially arrived.
But those pumpkins and fall decorations do not appear overnight by magic. Disney’s Holiday Services team works behind the scenes to transform the resort for the season.
Creating Halloween Magic Overnight

Nearly 80 Cast Members recently worked overnight to install autumn decor before guests arrived the next morning. At Magic Kingdom, the transformation includes Mickey pumpkin wreaths, fall bunting, rooftop pumpkins, and seasonal touches throughout Main Street, U.S.A.
New for 2026, guests can also find expanded Dumbo and Timothy Mouse pumpkin wreath displays in Storybook Circus.

“Our team is amazing,” shared longtime Disney decorator Jorge. “We have great leadership and communicate well, which helps us stay organized and efficient.”
Believe it or not, the team is already looking ahead.
Holiday Services is already preparing Christmas wreaths, garlands, and trees for Walt Disney World’s next seasonal transformation.
Making Holiday Magic

Jorge takes great pride into the decor and magic he helps create.
“Working at Disney has given me the opportunity to be myself and share my creativity in a way that impacts so many people. One of my favorite things is seeing guests take photos and create memories around something our team helped bring to life,” said Jorge. “Knowing that our décor becomes part of someone’s visit is really special, and it’s something that makes me proud every day.”
Jorge shared that seeing guests create lasting memories is the greatest reward for him and his team!
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

Jorge also helped create the giant Halloween sign at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs.
Each letter was designed with its own personality and hidden details, including tiny ghosts, a spiderweb, roadside arrows, and aviation-inspired elements.

“I truly believe that details create discovery, and discovery creates memories,” Jorge said.
The combo of creativity and craftsmanship is amazing. Be sure to see Disney as it transforms for the Halloween season.
