‘Toy Story 5’ Sets Digital and DVD Release Dates
With all the attention paid to Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the box office success of Toy Story 5 has been largely overlooked.
Released on June 19, the latest installment in Pixar’s flagship franchise reunited Woody with the rest of Bonnie’s toys as they faced off against the growing threat of technology.

“The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and this time around, it’s toy meets tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang’s jobs get exponentially harder when they go head-to-head with an all-new threat to playtime,” the film’s synopsis reads.
A Box Office Blockbuster
The last time we checked in on Toy Story 5, the film had grossed $1.094 billion, becoming the highest-grossing installment in franchise history.

Now, we are back with more exciting news.

After a wildly successful theatrical run, Toy Story 5 is getting a digital release on August 18.

Subsequently, on September 22, the film will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
The home video releases will include behind-the-scenes featurettes. These include The Toys Are Back in Town, Casting Playtime, 50 Buzzes and The Great Escape, and The Lost Toys.

Other bonus features include a blooper reel, audio commentary, and five deleted scenes (First Meet, Failed Rescue, Playtime, Goodbye Charlie, and Reunion).
Finally, fans who purchase a digital copy of Toy Story 5 will also receive music videos for “I Knew It, I Knew You.”
