Disney+ Scores Major LALIGA Streaming Deal in France
More exciting international Disney news is being released this week.Disney+ is expanding its European sports lineup with a major new addition for soccer fans in France.
Beginning with the 2026/27 season, all 380 LALIGA matches will stream live through ESPN on Disney+.

The new three-season agreement starts when LALIGA officially kicks off on August 15. Every match will feature French-language coverage, expert commentary, and weekly highlights as part of customers’ existing Disney+ subscriptions.
Fans can follow Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Sevilla, Villarreal, and Real Betis throughout the season.

The schedule also includes major rivalry matches such as EL CLÁSICO, the Madrid Derby, and El Gran Derbi.
French stars including Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Jules Koundé will also appear regularly.

“We’re excited to bring LALIGA to all Disney+ France customers in a fresh new way,” said Karl Holmes, General Manager of Disney+ EMEA.
The deal further strengthens ESPN’s growing European presence. Disney+ already offers LALIGA coverage in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and several Nordic countries. ESPN holds extensive LALIGA streaming rights in the United States through the 2028/29 season.
