Demi Lovato Makes Surprise Return as Mitchie in ‘Camp Rock 3’
Surprise! Demi Lovato is heading back to Camp Rock with a surprise appearance in Camp Rock 3.
The singer and actress reprises her fan-fave role as Mitchie Torres! She also serves as an executive producer.
A New Generation
The new Disney Channel Original Movie reunites Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas as Connect 3. Now as established performers, the group returns to Camp Rock to search for a new opening act.
There is plenty of great music, fun, and of course mischief along the way.
Director Veronica Rodriguez said the team carefully considered Mitchie’s place in the story while not taking away from the newer stars.

“We wanted to find the right balance of how much she should be in the film and what Mitchie’s involvement looked like,” Rodriguez says.
“Her character literally says in the movie, to her mom, ‘This isn’t about me, it’s about them. It’s their time to shine. This is the new generation of campers.’ With Mitchie and Connect 3, we wanted them to be ingrained and necessary for the story but also leave enough room and space for the world to fall in love with the new generation of campers.”
Fresh Faces

Fans will love the combo of returning faces like The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato mixed with new and fresh faces.
Liamani Segura and Malachi Barton are among the new campers, joined by Lumi Pollack, Sherry Cola, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts and Ava Jean. Maria Canals-Barrera also returns as Connie Torres.

Camp Rock 3 premieres Thursday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Disney Channel before arriving on Disney+ the following day.
