The Disney Dream Makes History in Southampton
The Disney Dream officially made history earlier this year as the first Disney vessel to homeport in Southampton.
As Europeans continue to enjoy their summer holidays, the Dream has set up shop in the United Kingdom, taking passengers on a series of cruises.
Guests are welcomed aboard the Disney Dream with “Sailing Away,” an extra- special show starring favorite Disney characters complete with high-energy music and lots of dancing. Among the destinations on the itinerary this year are the Norwegian fjords, the Mediterranean, Belgium, Spain, and Iceland.

After its final seven-night British Isles cruise on September 7, the ship will begin its transatlantic voyage back to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The Disney Dream
For those who may not know, the Disney Dream is a 130,000-ton vessel that first launched in January 2011.

Featuring 1,250 staterooms, the ship can carry a maximum of 4,000 passengers.
Onboard, the Dream blends classic design with legendary Disney storytelling to create an unparalleled cruise experience.

The vessel is also beloved for its Broadway-style shows, such as Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s Believe, and The Golden Mickeys.
At the 399-seat Buena Vista Theatre aboard the Disney Dream, guests can see a movie any time of day – morning, afternoon or evening! It also houses the AquaDuck, Enchanted Garden, and Royal Palace restaurants, along with plenty of magical activities, recreation, and entertainment.
