ADORABLE Interactive Ewok Toy Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
Real ones know that it was the Ewoks who truly saved the galaxy.
Sure, our protagonists played a role, but it was the adorable creatures who were the true catalyst in the Battle of Endor. Two decades of tyranny brought down by little bears with sticks.

The Ewoks’ heroism is matched only by their charm, and thanks to a new item soon to be available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you’ll be able to explore Batuu with an interactive Ewok by your side.

Disney announced on Friday morning that an interactive Ewok toy will go on sale at the Disneyland version of Galaxy’s Edge on August 13, particularly at the land’s Droid Depot store.
The figures are canonically crafted by “a scrappy crew of Anzellan manufacturers” and feature “expressive eyes, motorized facial expressions, and a mix of signature sounds.”

Each toy can interact with other Droid Depot droids, and tapping their head or belly prompts a random response.
There are also two special animations: the “Endor Dance party,” which triggers other nearby Ewok figures to chime in, and the “Forest Call Chain,” which prompts nearby toys to respond in their own language.

Ewok accessories will be available for an extra fee, including three themed gear packs: the Mandalore Gear Pack, Batuu Gear Pack, and the Endor Gear Pack. All three packs offer their own “interactive play opportunities.”

The interactive Ewok toys will be available at a “dedicated wall bay” inside Droid Depot. The customization experience will culminate in a “special activation moment that brings [the] new friend to life.”
The Ewok companion is the first offering of the new “Batuu Adventure Buddies” interactive toy line. Two additional buddies will later debut at Disneyland. The entire collection will launch at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World shortly thereafter.
Droid Depot
Droid Depot is a store at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World versions of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Guests can customize their own interactive droids, allowing them to take home a truly singular piece of a galaxy far, far away.
Droid models currently available at Droid Depot include the BB-Series, R-Series, C-Series, and A-LT-Series. The experience costs $119.99 per astromech droid unit, plus tax.
