Disney’s parks, streaming services, and sports division helped deliver another strong financial quarter.

The company reported earnings of $2.06 per share, beating Wall Street’s expectations of $1.86.
Revenue reached $25.25 billion, slightly below analysts’ forecasts, but still marked a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.
The Parks

Disney Experiences, which includes its theme parks, cruise line, and vacation businesses, brought in nearly $10 billion during the quarter. This is up 10%.
Disney Chief Financial Officer Hugh Johnston said attendance at U.S. parks increased 3%, while guests also spent 4% more during their visits. He highlighted Walt Disney World as a standout performer, calling attendance in Orlando “very strong.”

Universal Studios
The results come after Universal Orlando recently reported lower attendance, which it attributed to weaker consumer spending and higher travel costs.
Streaming and ESPN

Disney+ Hulu
Disney’s entertainment division also posted strong results.
Revenue from Disney+, Hulu, and other entertainment businesses climbed 11% to $5.53 billion. This increase was helped by higher subscription numbers, advertising revenue, and recent price increases.

Disney+
The success of Toy Story 5 also gave Disney’s entertainment business a lift after the film surpassed $1 billion at the global box office.
ESPN contributed as well! Revenue rose 4% thanks to strong advertising, subscription growth, and record-setting NBA and NHL playoff viewership.
