Seating Added to Bar at The Beak & Barrel in Magic Kingdom
There are a bunch of places around Disney World to grab a cold beverage — seriously, the list of bars and lounges is extensive. Whether you want a cocktail or mocktail, cold beer or some bar snacks, there is a little something for everyone around the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs.
Nomad Lounge
Some are way more popular than others, though! In fact, a few lounges require reservations, and they can be hard to come by, like The Beak & Barrel in Magic Kingdom.
This pirate-themed bar in Adventureland opened last year, and it’s the first bar and lounge to open in the park! This has only added to its popularity, and Disney does their best to have as many guests experience the spot as possible.
And now, a small but mighty change has been made inside The Beak & Barrel! Let’s talk about it!

Stools have been added to the bar area of The Beak & Barrel!
This may not seem like a big deal, but trust me, if you’ve been on your feet for hours and hours waiting in lines and walking around the parks, the last thing you want to do is stand to try and enjoy a nice drink.
I understand why they didn’t have seating at the bar before — it was likely to fit as many guests into the area as possible and to limit the amount of time spent in The Beak & Barrel. However, every other area of the lounge had seating at the bar prior to this!
And, there’s already a 45-minute time limit for everyone, anyway.
I am so pumped for this change. Our feet hurt, let us sit down for a little while we drink and snack!
Now if only we could get Oga’s Cantina over in Hollywood Studios to add some bar seating, that would be incredible. A girl can dream!
