Josh D’Amaro Reaffirms Disney’s Commitment to Abu Dhabi Theme Park on Q3 Earnings Call

Josh D’Amaro just completed the third-quarter earnings report, sharing a successful quarter and some exciting news. Disney CEO says the company’s vision for its newest global resort remains on track.

In addition to a successful year, supported by theme park attendance and streaming revenue, CEO Josh D’Amaro made it clear that the company remains fully committed to its upcoming theme park resort in Abu Dhabi.

Addressing investors, D’Amaro reaffirmed Disney’s long-term vision for the project and emphasized that the company’s plans have not changed despite ongoing global challenges.

The new Disney destination, currently in development with Miral on Yas Island, will become Disney’s seventh theme park resort. It is also the first in the Middle East.

Disney Imagineering is leading the creative design, while Miral is responsible for building and operating the resort under Disney’s guidance.

D’Amaro noted that major theme park developments require years of planning and construction, making them long-term investments in Disney’s future.

He also reiterated that the strategic reasoning behind the Abu Dhabi project remains unchanged, reinforcing Disney’s confidence in the resort’s long-term potential.
