A Dynamic NEW Magic Shot is Debuting at the 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!
The summer may be rapidly approaching its conclusion, but we’re not complaining, as that means the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is almost here!
This year’s event will run from August 27 to November 21, bringing with it delectable festival-exclusive food and beverage offerings. Disney just shared a ton of new information about the 2026 event, highlighting (among other things) the exclusive photo opportunities guests will be able to experience.

Four Food & Wine-centric Magic Shots are set to return from previous years. There will also be a brand new dynamic photo op; let’s take a look!

Debuting this year is a Waiter Mickey Mouse Magic Shot available throughout World Showcase, particularly in the Mexico, China, Italy, Japan, and France Pavilions.
What makes this photo op unique is that it changes based on where you have your photo taken. Mickey’s dish changes from pavilion to pavilion: he’s pictured with churros in Mexico, dumplings in China, spaghetti in Italy, sushi in Japan, and macarons in France.

There are also a few Magic Shots returning from last year, like this ‘Leaning Tower of Cheeza’ shot inspired by A Goofy Movie. This shot makes it look as though Bobby Zimmeruski has just constructed a cheese tower in your palm.

The giant empanda Magic Shot also returns, as does the Swedish Chef photo op.

And nothing screams EPCOT quite like Figment, so naturally, the Chef Figment Magic Shot is returning. The dragon adds an imaginative spark to your photos alongside characters from EPCOT’s now-defunct Kitchen Kabaret attraction.

Magic Shots are available through Disney PhotoPass. Photographers are available throughout the park, and these special photo ops digitally add characters to your pictures.
Additional Event Information
Disney also announced on Wednesday that a new interactive exhibit will debut at this year’s Food & Wine Festival. “Cheers to Cheese” will allow guests to “celebrate one of the world’s most beloved foods” at CommuniCore Hall (someone should tell Bobby Zimmeruski!).

The company also provided a sneak peek at some of the Food & Wine Festival merchandise that will become available later this month. This year’s lineup features a wide array of apparel, accessories, kitchenware, and more!
