We Finally Have an Update on the Construction of the Disney Believe
A new chapter in Disney Cruise Line history is currently being written in Papenburg, Germany, where work is underway on the Disney Believe.
Initially announced last March, the Disney Believe will be the ninth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

The Wish-class ship will immerse guests in beloved stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.
“Onboard the Disney Believe, powerful tales of characters who believe in themselves and their dreams will come to life in exciting new ways,” Disney teased.

“From the mystical worlds of Encanto and Frozen, to the wishing wells of Snow White, to the depths of the sea with Moana and The Little Mermaid, there are endless stories waiting to be discovered and new chapters ready to unfold onboard.”
Since Disney first announced the Believe, updates on the ship have been few and far between.

Until today.
Construction Update on the Disney Believe
Natacha Rafalski, whom Disney named president of Signature Experiences earlier this year, took to LinkedIn today to share an exciting update on the progress of the Disney Believe.
From her photos, it is clear that construction on the ship is well underway. As you can see, its funnel has already taken shape.

“I recently had the opportunity to visit Papenburg, Germany, with our Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney Imagineering teams to see the progress being made on our next ship,” Rafalski wrote.
“It’s incredible to see the ship at this stage in the building process. From holding a piece of steel to standing in front of the iconic funnel, the day was filled with excitement for the future. I truly cannot wait to see the Disney Believe come to life with every visit.”

I, for one, can’t wait to see what kind of magic Disney creates with the Disney Believe.
