Come With Us to Dine at Downtown Disney’s Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby!
Downtown Disney is full of new, exciting experiences!

NEW Sign – Downtown Disney
Downtown Disney is in the middle of a total transformation, bringing new gates, retail locations, restaurants, sweet shops, theming, and more to the location. (If you haven’t visited in the past couple of years, Downtown Disney probably looks unrecognizable to you.)
Din Tai Fung, Nectar Life, Lululemon, Disney Storyland Boutique, and The D-Lander Shop are among the exciting additions that have popped up around Downtown Disney in recent years.

Storyland Boutique
One of the newest arrivals in the area is Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, and we’re here to give it a taste.
Let’s go!

We’re here at Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby!
The British dining experience is located in Downtown Disney’s new two-story building, which also houses Earl of Sandwich.

The first story of the building has the check-in desk, and guests can take an elevator up to Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby.
The elevator doors are covered in the British Union flag–hard to miss!

Décor
Upon entering the second floor of the building, we were met with an impressive, fully-stocked bar…

…and immersive theming, including portraits and artwork inspired by London in the ’60s.

You may see some familiar faces on the wall, like the iconic British model, Twiggy!

The outdoor patio deck is the place to be (especially during Disneyland Park’s fireworks show).

Oh–and make sure you leave room for dessert. They have plenty of drool-worthy options like Sticky Toffee Pudding and OREO Cheesecake.

Review
We started with the Parker Rolls for $14.
The warm brioche buns are served on a skillet with whipped butter and topped with sea salt and chives.

These rolls are perfectly fluffy and have the right amount of salt. They’re a delicious way to start your dining experience, prepping your palate for what’s to come.
(Pro tip: save a roll or two to dip into sauces from your entrees!)

If you’re not trying an authentic British dish here, then what’s the point?! We opted for the Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips for $33.
The triple-cooked chips are served with tartar sauce and mushy peas.

We received a huge cod fillet, which was cooked beautifully in crispy, fried batter. The house tartar sauce and mushy peas were the perfect pairing.

Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the Beef Wellington. The entree is $73 and served with a potato purée, fresh herb salad, and a red wine demi glaze.
The Beef Wellington is a traditional take–tenderloin coated in pâte, encased in a puff pastry.

The beef is the right amount of tender and savory, and the flavors are enhanced by the demi glaze.

The Sticky Toffee Pudding for $15 is what was recommended to us, so naturally, we gave it a try!
It’s a warm date cake served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of warm toffee sauce.

This was the perfect way to end our meal, and also, the perfect portion!
It wasn’t overly sweet or too heavy, making it so we weren’t feeling too stuffed at the end of our dining experience.
Overall, this is a great addition to Downtown Disney! This restaurant certainly fills a niche, as there’s nothing quite like it in the area.
The theming paired with the distinct flavors makes Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby a standout.
