We’ve been celebrating with various activities around Disneyland Park, fun facts about the creation of the park, and some Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration offerings (yes, the event is still running at the resort).

Speaking of the 70th Celebration, The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade floated through Disneyland Park today with some birthday-themed additions.

The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade – Disneyland’s Birthday Celebration Edition
The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade – Disneyland’s Birthday Celebration Edition floated through Disneyland Park today, starting at “it’s a small world” and ending in Town Square.
The birthday edition of the cavalcade only ran during the 1:30PM showtime. (The cavalcade that followed at 2:45PM was the regular version.)
The 71st birthday cavalcade kicked off with a “Happy Birthday Disneyland Resort” banner…
…and a cake float!
The cavalcade stopped to play Walt’s dedication speech, which was followed by the Dapper Dans, the Disneyland Band, and guests singing “Happy Birthday” to Disneyland Park!
