Walt Disney – A Magical Life
What better way to celebrate Disneyland’s birthday than with a visit to the man who created the park?
Stop by the Main Street Opera House–on Main Street, U.S.A., of course–to catch Walt Disney – A Magical Life! From 2PM to 8PM today, the show will play, providing a look into Walt’s life and a performance from the first audio-animatronic of Walt.

Don’t forget to visit the Main Street Opera House’s gallery before or after the show to tour through the evolution of Disneyland! This gallery has images, art, and artifacts from before, during, and after the park’s creation.
The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade – Birthday Celebration Edition
Today, the park will host a special birthday version of the 70th Celebration cavalcade! The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade – Disneyland’s Birthday Celebration will run at 1:30PM.
Last year, this version had birthday-themed additions like a banner, a cake float, the Disneyland Band, the Dapper Dans, tons of characters and special appearances, and the chance to sing “Happy Birthday” to the resort!
Oga’s Birthday Drink
Head to Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to cool off with their limited-time birthday drink, the Alderaanian Fizz!
This drink has mandarin orange vodka, blue Curaçao, ginger mule mix, pure cane sugar syrup, and soda water, topped with candied ginger.
