New Disney x Champions Collection Pairs Beloved Characters With NFL Teams
Just months after The Walt Disney Company struck a major deal with the NFL, the relationship between the two entities is expanding in an exciting new direction.
Football fans can infuse their apparel with a little Disney magic thanks to the new Disney x Champion NFL Collection.

The landmark partnership will see all 32 NFL teams paired with beloved Disney characters.
Matching NFL Teams With Fan-Favorite Characters
Debuting today at Fanatics Fest NYC, the collection will eventually be available on Fanatics.com, NFLShop.com, and DisneyStore.com.

The goal of the new Disney x Champion NFL Collection is to “reimagine NFL fandom through an unmistakable Disney lens.”
“Great collaborations are built on shared cultural relevance, and that’s what made these pairings so compelling from a design perspective,” Marcus Rosie, Disney Consumer Products’ Global Creative SVP, shared exclusively with WWD.

“By merging Disney’s character storytelling with the visual language of NFL fandom, we created a collection that feels equally at home in sports culture and everyday style.”
So far, Disney has unveiled eight character pairings.
For the collection, the Buffalo Bills are paired with the Beast, the Dallas Cowboys with Woody, the Las Vegas Raiders with Darth Vader, the New England Patriots with Captain America, the New York Giants with Wreck-It Ralph, the New York Jets with Buzz Lightyear, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Captain Hook, and the Washington Commanders with Hamm.

Clearly, Disney and Champion put a lot of thought into pairing each team with the perfect character.
