It may only be July, but we’re quickly creeping our way toward the Halloween season!

Halloween Time will materialize around the Disneyland Resort on August 21st, which means guests can soon experience all kinds of not-so-spooky fun! (Check out everything confirmed for the Halloween season here.) Of course, the Halloween season will also bring the return of the most villainous bash of all–the Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure (DCA)!
Oogie Boogie Bash
Each year, the bash debuts a new villain or two. But before the villainous announcement hits, Disney gives guests a chance to guess away at the new baddie(s)! And the time has come for us to guess who this year’s new villain is!

The Disneyland Resort took to Instagram to provide a video clue for who this year’s new Oogie Boogie Bash villain is!

Okay…any guesses?
“Pull the lever, Kronk!” Our best guess is Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove!

Why? Well, the video shows us bottles of poison, which, to us, could only be the poison for Kuzco…the poison chosen specifically for Kuzco…Kuzco’s poison.
A feather also falls into frame, reminding us of Yzma’s signature outfit, which is full of feathers!

We’ve seen her at the 2022 Disneyland After Dark: Villains Nite and at last year’s Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon, but this would be her first appearance at the Oogie Boogie Bash (if she is indeed the new villain).
