Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace Gets Reopening Window at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that things are changing at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Over the course of the year, multiple projects have gotten underway, including updates to the Grand Ceremonial House and a refurbishment of the resort’s dock.

In the last several months, we have also seen work kick off at Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace and Wailulu Bar & Grill at Island Tower.
The last time we checked in, the resort’s new bus stop had opened!

Now, we are back with another update.
Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace Gets a Reopening Window
As the refurbishment of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort continues, we now have an idea of when Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace will reopen.

A new note on Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort website states that the outdoor bar will begin serving guests again in late October.
As a reminder, the Tiki Terrace initially closed on April 13. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, on the other hand, has remained open.

Since that time, we have seen scaffolding erected around the bar and the entire area blocked off with planters.

Now, the countdown to reopening has begun.

While fans will have to wait a little bit longer for the bar to reopen, it sounds like Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace will be serving up drinks just in time for the holiday season.
