The ‘Toy Story 5’ Soundtrack Is Topping the Charts Thanks to Taylor Swift
Since its release in theaters last month, Toy Story 5 has been a box-office behemoth for Pixar and Disney.
Reuniting audiences with Buzz, Woody, and the rest of Bonnie’s toys, the latest Toy Story film has kept the 30-year-old franchise fresh while appealing to longtime fans.

“The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and this time around, it’s toy meets tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang’s jobs get exponentially harder when they go head-to-head with an all-new threat to playtime,” the film’s synopsis reads.
As of this writing, the film has grossed $768.2 million at the global box office.

Now, however, we have an exciting update on the film’s soundtrack.
A Chart-Topping Soundtrack
Propelled by Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” the Toy Story 5 soundtrack is dominating the Billboard charts.

The soundtrack debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Kid Albums chart, No. 2 on the Soundtracks chart, and No. 9 on the Independent Albums chart.
Last week, the album also debuted at No. 67 on the Billboard 200.

While previous Toy Story soundtracks have been nominated for numerous awards and spawned hit songs such as “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and “When She Loved Me,” none has performed as well on the charts as Toy Story 5.
In addition to Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” the soundtrack also includes Randy Newman’s masterful score, which has been lauded by fans and critics alike.
