The Cheetah Girls Are Back as Disney Announces ‘Next Gen’
With Camp Rock 3 set to debut next month, Disney has already started work on another legacy sequel.
Today, Disney Channel announced that The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen is on the way, with most of the franchise’s stars set to return.

The fourth installment in the beloved Disney Channel film series will see Raven-Symoné reprise her role as Galleria, while Adrienne Bailon-Houghton will return as Chanel.
Joining them will be Sabrina Bryan, who will make a special appearance as Dorinda; Lynn Whitfield, who will return as Dorothea; and Lori Alter, who will reprise her role as Juanita.

At this time, Kiely Williams is not attached to the film.
The Next Generation
Rounding out the cast will be Sophia Bush as Jennifré, Leah Sava Jeffries as Galleria’s daughter, Faith, Carmen Sanchez as Chanel’s sister, Dior, Kaileen Chang as Ruby, and Sophie Lennon as Brooklyn. Newcomer Kamogelo Ramushwana will play Kendi.

“The story picks up when Cheetah Girls Galleria (Symoné) and Chanel (Bailon), alongside Galleria’s daughter Faith (Jeffries) and her three friends, travel to Africa to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary. Along the way, these four teen girls test their friendship, find their voice, and discover the true Cheetah spirit as they save the preserve and ultimately take the stage as the new Cheetah Girls.”
Symone’s Return
The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen will be the first new installment in the fan-favorite franchise since 2008’s The Cheetah Girls: One World, which did not feature Raven-Symoné.

The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen will also mark Symoné’s first Disney project since Raven’s Home came to an end in 2023.
