Disneyland Wait Times for July 2026
Summer vacations have arrived, which means only one thing at Disneyland!
Families are now swarming the parks as they relish these treasured vacation days.

Throughout Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., vibrant colors and bold banners take over Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District and the Hotels of Disneyland Resort. Themed décor such as a 50-foot sculpture inspired by the Sleeping Beauty Castle will be in the Esplanade, while the floral Mickey is adorned with vibrant flowers. Guests can “celebrate happy” during the limited-time Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration beginning May 16, 2025. (Richard Harbaugh/Disneyland Resort)
People can celebrate The Happiest Place on Earth at a more leisurely speed. Also – and this grows more important each year – the weather is better in California than Florida.
For whatever reason, Anaheim is weathering the heat wave of the 2020s better than Orlando. Does the more comfortable weather impact the crowds? Let’s find out.

Here are Disneyland’s average wait times for July 2026.
About Disneyland Park
I hate to be a buzzkill, but you’re running out of time to Celebrate Happiness. We have about five weeks remaining in Disneyland’s 70th anniversary party.
Disney thoughtfully extended some of the events for a couple of days in August. Someone finally looked at the calendar and realized that the D23 Expo was happening.

Why in the world would Disneyland end its birthday party before D23, right? Well, that had been the original schedule. So, if you’re visiting that week, consider yourself lucky.
Anyway, it’s otherwise business as usual at Disneyland Resort. Over the past month, we’ve had a few Disneyland After Dark events, including Pride Nites.

Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite – Disneyland Park
Generally speaking, the parks haven’t added anything new since Bluey. Of course, Bluey’s Best Day Ever! is a huge addition at Disneyland Park.
Fans have absolutely swarmed the Fantasyland Theatre since late March. We’re barely three months into Bluey at Disneyland, yet it has definitely had an impact.

Otherwise, both parks remain relatively calm while Imagineers prep for the future. Disney California Adventure is doubling the size of Avengers Campus, and that’s not all.
An Avatar (or Zootopia?) themed land is under construction as well. For the time being, 2026 promises to be a relatively calm year, other than Disneyland 70.

Since that’s ending soon, this year’s events divide rather evenly.
We’ve got summer family vacations then Halloween fun, followed by Christmas season.

So, 2026 is barely half over, yet we already know how everything will play out.
I love that about Disneyland Resort. It’s so timeless, yet it possesses impeccable cadence.

Overall, Disneyland’s attractions averaged a collective wait of 29 minutes each.
That’s a drop of two minutes per attraction from May to June.
Disney California Adventure Wait Times
This park has proven more susceptible to change than its elder sibling. Disney California Adventure closed most of its Avengers Campus live shows.
Presumably, the construction necessitated these changes, but still. The park has felt a bit slower and substantially less lively lately.

That’s nitpicking, though, as it’s still such a fun place to hang out.
For Disney Adults, DCA is as good as it gets, which explains the lines at one ride.
