Disney World Announces Reopening Date for Yachtsman Steakhouse
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that the last couple years have been a time of change at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Since the beginning of 2025, Disney has been slowly but surely refurbishing Crescent Lake’s flagship resorts. During that time, we have seen exterior work begin and expand, Stormalong Bay undergo major renovations, and the Crew’s Cup Lounge receive a refresh.
Finally, there is Yachtsman Steakhouse.
The Yacht Club’s Signature Restaurant Is Closed For Refurbishment
With the reopening of the Crew’s Cup Lounge last month, Disney announced that Yachtsman Steakhouse would be closing for refurbishment.
At the time, we reported that the Yacht Club’s signature restaurant was expected to remain closed through August 2026.
Now, it looks like we have an official reopening date!
When Will the Steakhouse Reopen?
A new update to the Walt Disney World website has revealed that Yachtsman Steakhouse will officially reopen on August 28.

While we will have to wait to see what Disney has done during the refurbishment, the dining experience is not expected to change drastically.
Additionally, it is important to note that while Yachtsman Steakhouse is closed, select items from its menu are available at Crew’s Cup Lounge!

So, if you have an upcoming stay at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, make sure you plan ahead!
While Yachtsman Steakhouse may not be open, there are still plenty of dining options available.
