WATCH: Sora Returns in New ‘Kingdom Hearts IV’ Trailer
All the way back in April 2022, Disney fans got the news they had long been waiting for when Kingdom Hearts IV was officially announced.
The next installment in the beloved franchise will find Sora trapped in the lifelike world of Quadratum, which was inspired by Tokyo.

Launching the Lost Master story arc, the new game will see Donald and Goofy attempt to save their longtime ally.
While fans were understandably excited to see Kingdom Hearts IV come to fruition, updates on the project have been few and far between over the last four years.

A New Kingdom Hearts IV Has Been Released
To the surprise of fans everywhere, Square Enix dropped a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV this morning.
The new clip showcases Sora battling the giant Darkside Heartless inside Quadratum.

Interestingly, the scene is narrated by a mysterious woman.
“The structure of this world is incredibly complex,” she says. “At first, there were no manifestations of what we know as Light and Darkness. But our arrival here brought those concepts with us, the Darkness given physical form only after we defined it.”

When Will the Game Be Released
At this time, there is still no word on when Kingdom Hearts IV will be released.
