Walt Disney World Wait Times for Early June 2026

With Memorial Day Week in the review mirror, normalcy has settled in at Disney theme parks.

Now, we’ve unofficially entered summer, even if the calendar says otherwise.

Theoretically, the crowds should have dipped some after the holiday week.

However, Disney pulled out all the stops in making the summer of 2026 one to remember.

Did all the new experiences impact the crowds? We’re about to find out.

Here are Walt Disney World’s wait times for the first week of June 2026.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Bluey has switched to a standby queue after a few days of virtual queuing.

Justin Hermes just listed all the rules under the new system.

Then, I added a few thoughts from a member of our traveling party who attended.

Disney needs to do a better job of keeping the trains running on time.

Other than that, Bluey’s Wild World is doing exactly what Disney wanted.

Fans are flocking to Conservation Station for the first time in, well, ever.

Did Bluey have a halo effect on the rest of the park?

Here are Animal Kingdom’s average wait times last week:

• Avatar Flight of Passage – 65 minutes, down 14
• Na’vi River Journey – 48 minutes, down 5
• Kali River Rapids – 40 minutes, down 10
• Expedition Everest – 36 minutes, down 4
• Kilimanjaro Safaris – 32 minutes, down 1
• Bluey’s Wild World – 29 minutes, n/a
• Adventurer’s Outpost – 27 minutes, down 4
• Zootopia: Better Zoogether! – 16 minutes, down 2

Note that Disney is publishing anticipated wait times for Bluey now.

So, we will be tracking this one as long as Disney lists the data.

This week’s comparisons aren’t apples to apples because of this, though.

We’re now tracking eight attractions rather than seven. Please keep that in mind.

Overall, Animal Kingdom’s attractions averaged a wait of 37 minutes.

That’s six minutes less than time, with Bluey actually pulling the numbers down a bit.

I’d expect the Bluey experience’s wait times to drop gradually throughout the summer.

Disney can pack a lot of people into this area, even with the massive demand.

Of course, Bluey will lose the numbers game to all the new stuff at Hollywood Studios.

Also, The Walt Disney Studios is now up and running, albeit without The Magic of Disney Animation.

We just learned that the new experiences will arrive later this summer.

I was there the first day it opened, and the very tired security guards weren’t enthusiastic.

The delay had turned their job into an endless series of repetition.

“There’s nothing in this building yet other than posters. There’s nothing…”

I felt bad for them, but the posters are pretty great, especially Encanto.

The international Zootopia 2 posters fascinated me, too.

Anyway, here are the park’s average wait times last week:

• Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets – 87 minutes, up 12
• Slinky Dog Dash – 74 minutes, no change
• Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 64 minutes, up 5
• Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway – 50 minutes, no change
• Toy Story Mania! – 49 minutes, no change
• Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – 48 minutes, down 1
• Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 47 minutes, up 1
• Alien Swirling Saucers – 36 minutes, up 1
• Red Carpets Dreams – 33 minutes, no change
• Celebrity Spotlight – 16 minutes, down 1
• Star Tours – The Adventures Continue! – 16 minutes, up 3

Overall, Hollywood Studios attractions required an average wait of 47 minutes.

That’s two minutes more than last time, and it’s easy to see why.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets

The Muppets have proven quite the draw, while Baby Yoda isn’t.

Smugglers Run has been hovering in the same range, but Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is waaaay up.

I don’t expect the latter trend to last indefinitely. For the moment, the love is real, though.

Soarin’ Across America

At this park, Soarin’ Across America has caused quite a buzz.

Fans cannot believe how great the Grand Canyon and Alaska look.

On the downside, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has ended.

We’ll always have the Butterfly Tent, though. Those memories last forever.

GoofyCore Opens Early – EPCOT

On the bright side, EPCOT functions as the de facto epicenter of Cool Kids’ Summer.

So, how were the early summer crowds? Here are EPCOT’s average wait times last week:

• Test Track – 83 minutes, down 4
• Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – 80 minutes, down 9
• Frozen Ever After – 62 minutes, no change
• Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure – 56 minutes, down 4
• Soarin’ Across America – 50 minutes, down 3
• Royal Sommerhus – 41 minutes, down 2
• Meet Mickey & Friends – 22 minutes, down 1
• The Seas with Nemo & Friends – 21 minutes, down 3
• Spaceship Earth – 21 minutes, down 3
• Living with the Land – 20 minutes, down 1
• Mission: SPACE – 20 minutes, up 1
• Turtle Talk with Crush – 19 minutes, down 1
• Journey into Imagination with Figment – 18 minutes, no change
• Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros – 11 minutes, no change

Overall, EPCOT guests stood in line for an average of 37 minutes per attraction.

That’s three minutes less than the previous week. So, we are mostly trending down this week.

I’d honestly expected a bigger drop, but we still haven’t gotten to the most popular park yet.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the park’s attractions averaged a wait of 29 minutes.

That’s the same as the previous week, which is a good sign for Disney.

The wait times at Walt Disney World this past week were less than two minutes less than during Memorial Day Week.

That’s a strong early indicator that the new experiences are drawing a crowd.
