runDisney Announces NEW Registration Date For the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend
What was expected to be an exciting morning for runDisney fans yesterday quickly turned into a frustrating one when registration for the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend failed to open as scheduled.
Participants from around the world logged onto the runDisney website ahead of the event’s planned 10:00 a.m. registration launch, hoping to secure their spot in one of the company’s most popular race weekends.

Unfortunately, runners were met with a notice that registration had been delayed.
A Series of Delays
While Disney provided additional updates at 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., the messages offered little information about the cause of the issue or when registration would begin.

“Unfortunately, registration will not take place today. We’ll share an update on runDisney social accounts by 8:00 PM ET this evening.”
Finally, yesterday evening, runDisney announced that it was working to finalize a new registration date and time for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend.

“You may notice some changes on the website this evening, but registration has not started,” they wrote.
“We want to reassure everyone that we will communicate the new date and time at least 24 hours before registration opens. We don’t have those details to share just yet, and registration won’t take place this week. We’ll share another update by 8:00 PM ET tomorrow evening on runDisney social accounts.”

Now, we finally have a new registration time.
Registration Will Open on June 8
runDisney took to social media this afternoon to announce that registration for the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will officially open on June 8 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

“We appreciate everyone who has been following along and waiting for this update. The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend registration will now open on Monday, June 8 at 10:00 AM ET,” the organization wrote.
“Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued excitement for race weekend.”

The 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will take place February 25 through March 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World.
