Hulu Is Developing a New Ensemble Comedy From Dewayne Perkins
Comedian Dewayne Perkins is developing a new ensemble comedy for Hulu alongside executive producers Stephen Curry, Erick Peyton, and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett.
The series will follow a group of friends in their 30s who decide to put their relationship choices to a group vote.

Led by the “chaotically gay Denny” and “just trying his best straight Nelson,” the show “follows the friends at they attempt to not only help each other find their next potential loves but also help each other re-find their confidence, streamline their joy and define the next chapter of their lives,” Variety explains.

Should the series be picked up by Hulu, Perkins will also serve as writer and executive producer.
Perkings Star Continues to Burn Bright
Perkins has been a rising star in the comedy world and currently stars in Apple’s The Studio.
Previously, he also wrote for The Amber Ruffin Show and Brooklyn Nine-Nine and produced, starred in, and co-wrote The Blackening for Lionsgate.

Unanimous Media, on the other hand, was founded in 2018 by Curry and Peyton. With a focus on family, faith, and sports-themed content, the studio has recently found success with the animated film GOAT.
When Will the Series Debut?
At this time, there is no word on when the new ensemble comedy will arrive on Hulu.
