Downtown Disney guests will soon have a new way to cool off as Happy Ice prepares to open a colorful new cart at the Disneyland Resort this month.
The Los Angeles-based dessert brand is bringing its handcrafted Philadelphia-style Italian ice to the popular shopping and dining district, along with an entirely new all-natural menu.

Founded by Philadelphia native Lemeir Mitchell in 2017, Happy Ice began as a single food truck in Los Angeles. It has since expanded into multiple locations, pop-ups, and a devoted following throughout Southern California.

The Downtown Disney location will feature fruit-forward Italian ice made with real fruit, pure cane sugar, and premium ingredients.
The menu is free of artificial dyes and high-fructose corn syrup while maintaining the nostalgic flavors that helped build the brand.

Guests will also be able to try JOY-LATI. This brand-new layered dessert features Italian ice, vanilla sweet cream, house-made sauces, fresh fruit, cookies, and pie crumbles. Yum!
