The Polite Pig Has Been Listed in the 2026 Michelin Guide
Since opening on April 10, 2017, The Polite Pig has delighted guests with its consistent customer service and “modern barbecue” menu.
When executives were planning Disney Springs, they emphasized the importance of bringing a local restaurant to Town Center.

Eventually, they settled on The Polite Pig, a spinoff of the popular Winter Park establishment, The Ravenous Pig.
The brainchild of Orlando restaurateur Brian Petrakis and chefs James Petrakis and Julie Petrakis, the restaurant is the quintessential Disney Springs location, blending local flavors with the magic of Disney.

Needless to say, the restaurant quickly became one of the most popular stops in all of Disney Springs!
A Major Honor for The Polite Pig
The Polite Pig took to Instagram yesterday and announced that it had been selected for the 2026 Michelin Guide.

The honor is a testament to the quality of food and service that the restaurant serves up every day.
“This recognition reflects the passion, dedication, and hard work of our entire team, who strives every day to deliver memorable food and hospitality to our guests,” The Polite Pig explained.

“Thank you to our cast, our culinary team, and everyone who has dined with us and supported us along the way. We’re grateful to be included in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide and look forward to welcoming you to The Polite Pig.”
The Polite Pig has now been listed in the Michelin Guide every year since 2022. That just so happens to be the year the first Florida guide was released.
