Come Along With Us to Disney After Hours at EPCOT!
Disney World has no shortage of magical experiences. From eating dinner with princesses to flying through the galaxy on a spaceship, there really are so many ways to have a magical vacation.
Beyond the regular park experiences, there are actually a bunch of things you can do to add EXTRA magic to your trip! One of those is through Disney After Hours.
We just attended the event in EPCOT, so we’re here to give you an inside look at everything it has to offer!
Disney After Hours at EPCOT
Disney After Hours are events held on select nights where you can stay in the park after it’s closed to regular guests. There are significantly lower wait times for attractions, special character appearances, and some tasty snacks included!
These differ from Extended Evening Hours because After Hours are a separate, paid event that happen way less frequently than Extended Evening Hours. Extended Evening Hours are also only available for guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Disney hotels.
Another major difference is that Extended Evening Hours are only for 2 hours after the park closes and do not have any special character appearances or complimentary food available. Disney After Hours events do include those things and are for 3 hours.
Event tickets for EPCOT’s After Hours are $155 to $179 per ticket, plus tax, depending on the date.
EPCOT After Hours starts at 9:30PM and runs until 12:30AM, but you can enter the park as early as 7PM. These events take place on select nights from now through September 24th, 2026!
We got our event map and wristbands right before 8PM, but the event with the free food and character appearances didn’t officially start until 9:30PM.
Complimentary Food
Included in your ticket price is access to a bunch of tasty snacks around the park!
These include Mickey ice cream bars and ice cream sandwiches, popcorn, and bottles of water and soda.
You can find these at carts throughout the event, including the Mission: SPACE Cart, Imagination Cart, Connections Cart, and Fountain Popcorn Cart.
We also noticed that the popcorn cart in the Canada Pavilion was open, and their iconic maple popcorn was included as one of the popcorn options!
Delicious.
Special Character Appearances & Entertainment
You will run into some special characters and entertainment during After Hours at EPCOT! These character encounters will be more casual than normal meet and greets during the day in the parks where you have wait times, long lines, etc.
We saw Goofy having a dance party with a DJ over in CommuniCore Plaza!
It was a very high-energy endeavor. Goofy certainly knows how to party!
There are also live bands at the Canada Mill Stage at certain times throughout the night, as well as traditional live folk music playing in Mexico!
We also got to see Minnie Mouse!
She was in her classic polka dot dress.
And Mickey Mouse was hanging out near the statue of Walt Disney.
What a fun photo op!
Oh, and make sure to look out for some extra magic from Cast Members like these water drawings we came across! Here’s Mickey and Minnie…

Lower Wait Times
Since this is a limited capacity event, wait times were very low around the park! At times, it really felt like no one else was in EPCOT with us, which was pretty cool.
An almost empty park!

Cosmic Rewind
