Telly Awards
The company also received two honors at the Shorty Awards for standout digital and social media campaigns.
Disneyland Handcrafted Leads the Way

Disneyland Handcrafted was Disney Experiences’ biggest winner of the year, earning:
- Gold for Best Sound and Sound Design
- Gold for Best Use of Archival Footage
- Silver for Best Documentary, Long Form
The documentary explores the intense construction period leading up to Disneyland’s 1955 opening and highlights the creation of iconic attractions including the Jungle Cruise and the Mark Twain Riverboat.

Director Leslie Iwerks and her team reviewed over 50 hours of raw construction footage from the Walt Disney Film Archives and restored rare 16mm film reels for the project.
Because much of the original footage had no production audio, Skywalker Sound recreated every sound effect, including footsteps, hammer strikes, and ambient construction noise.
