FX Places Series Order For ‘Very Young Frankenstein’
FX is moving forward with its plans for Very Young Frankenstein, a spinoff of Mel Brooks‘ classic comedy.
Originally announced last year, Very Young Frankenstein will star Zach Galifianakis, Dolly Wells, and Spencer House, with Nikki Crawford, Kumail Nanjiani, and Cary Elwes appearing in the pilot.

The series will be written by Stefani Robinson, who is producing alongside her What We Do in the Shadows collaborators Taika Waititi and Garrett Basch.

While details on Very Young Frankenstein remain scarce, FX knows that it is revisiting a beloved property.

Speaking of Brooks, the Hollywood legend will serve as an executive producer on Very Young Frankenstein.
