For the second time in less than a year, Disney is expanding its partnership with the Savannah Bananas.
For those unfamiliar, the Savannah Bananas play Banana Ball, a fast-paced, fan-first twist on traditional baseball that has exploded in popularity in recent years.

Thanks to their flair for theatrics, eye-catching trick plays, and genuine athletic talent, the Bananas have become social media sensations. Simply put, Banana Ball fever has taken the nation by storm.
Disney Partnered With the Bananas Last Year
In April 2025, Disney and the Savannah Bananas reached a new television deal that brought 10 Banana Ball games to numerous platforms, including ESPN’s linear networks.

The two sides later expanded that agreement to 25 games, including a matchup between the Bananas and the Party Animals on ABC.
According to a report from Front Office Sports, ESPN’s Banana Ball broadcasts averaged 502,000 viewers last season.
