Disney Dominates the 25th Golden Trailer Awards With 109 Nominations

The creative power of Walt Disney Studios was once again on display with the announcement of the 25th Golden Trailer Awards nominees.
One of Hollywood’s most overlooked award ceremonies, the Golden Trailer Awards honor creativity and innovation in movie trailers and posters. The goal is to celebrate the behind-the-scenes talent that helps shape the media landscape and recognize particularly unforgettable marketing campaigns.

Since its inaugural ceremony in 1999, the Golden Trailer Awards have expanded to more than 100 categories. Among the top honors are Best Action trailer, Best TV Spot, Best Teaser, Best TV Sport, and the tongue-in-cheek Golden Fleece award, which recognizes a great trailer for a bad movie.

Last year, Disney/MOCEAN won the coveted Best in Show award for Deadpool & Wolverine’s “Taken” teaser.
Disney Dominated the Field
This year, Disney once again dominated the nominations, earning 109 nods across film, television, and streaming categories.

According to ABC7, the biggest Disney winner was Deadpool & Wolverine, which earned 13 nominations.
The Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown also garnered seven nominations, followed by Agatha All Along with five and Abbott Elementary with four.

Disney is no stranger to dominating the Golden Trailer Awards, having taken home 19 wins in 2024.
When Will the Awards Take Place
The studio will now have to wait until the 25th Golden Trailer Awards ceremony on May 29 to see how it fares this year.
