‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Once Again Reigns Supreme at the Box Office

Arriving in theaters nearly twenty years after the original film, The Devil Wears Prada 2 reunites Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Meryl Streep for another chic adventure inside the offices of Runway Magazine.

Last weekend, The Devil Wears Prada 2 kicked off the summer box office with a bang, delivering a $77 million domestic opening and a $223.6 million global debut.

Bolstered by strong reviews from both critics and audiences, the film held impressively well in its second weekend, adding another $43 million domestically, a decline of just 44%.

Globally, the film has now grossed $433 million, surpassing the entire lifetime box office haul of the original The Devil Wears Prada, which earned $326 million worldwide.
