Hulu Passes on YA Mystery Series “Foster Dade”
Hulu has decided not to move forward with the upcoming YA mystery drama “Foster Dade,” according to a new report from Deadline.
The series was originally ordered as a pilot last summer and was based on Nash Jenkins’ debut novel, “Foster Dade Explores the Cosmos.”

The series takes place in both 2008 and the present day at an elite East Coast boarding school.

Hulu reportedly developed the project while searching for more young adult dramas and focusing on the teen market.
The network has had great success with series like “Tell Me Lies” and was looking to expand its audience.

Berlanti also served as an executive producer with Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Nash Jenkins, Robbie Rogers, and Donald De Line.
