PHOTOS: Check Out the Construction Updates at EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion
There is a lot of change happening in Walt Disney World right now. We are seeing construction and updates across our favorite resorts, classic attractions, amenities, and more. And the changes are exciting.
Over the past several months, there have been multiple projects, including updates at Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace and Wailulu Bar & Grill at Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort…

… we have seen daily updates of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring The Muppets…

…and The South Point Pool at Old Key West Resort also just went under refurbishment and just reopened.

And there are exciting updates happening at EPCOT. We stopped by the Mexico Pavilion in World Showcase to check out the latest.
Mexico Updates
The Mexico Pavilion has been under construction for the last few months. Mainly, the left entrance had been closed for some exterior refurbishment, but it was blocking guest flow.

It appears that construction to the outside of the pyramid has shifted and has become more extensive.

The most recent pictures show that additional scaffolding has popped up in the last few days.

Here is another book at the additional scaffolding:

One of the biggest frustrations and complaints from guests was the traffic flow as the left side entrance is closed…

…a small sign directs guests to the entrance on the other side.

While the construction initially seemed smaller, it is now looking to be more of a larger exterior update. Keep following along to stay up-to-date on these exciting changes.
