PHOTOS: Construction Continues Across Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that things are changing at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Over the past several months, multiple projects have gotten underway, including updates to the Grand Ceremonial House and a refurbishment of the resort’s dock.
In the last couple of weeks, we have also seen work begin at Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace and Wailulu Bar & Grill at Island Tower.

Now, we are back with another update.
Wailulu Bar & Grill
With so much going on at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, we had to head over to check things out.

Our first stop was Wailulu Bar & Grill at Island Tower, where the roof refurbishment is still underway.

Here is a look at the current state of the project.

As a reminder, the restaurant is currently offering walk-up service from opening until 5:00 PM.

Full seating then resumes in the evening until close.

Bus Stop Construction
Moving back over to the Polynesian Village Resort, the bus stop remains closed for construction.

Currently, the path to the bus stop is blocked off by construction equipment.

Crews were hard at work today.

Here is another look at the project.

Captain Cook’s and Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace
Last but certainly not least, we have the construction outside Captain Cook’s and Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace.

As you can see, the entire area is now covered in scaffolding.

Here is another look.

While the area is currently under heavy construction, guests can still access Captain Cook’s.

The Tiki Terrace, on the other hand, is currently closed.

Clearly, the exterior refurbishment is extensive.

Here is one last look.

As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World.
