Disney has shared an exploration of the World of Frozen alongside the directors of Frozen 3, Jennifer Lee and Trent Correy! Let’s take a look.
The Directors’ Guide to World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris
How Arendelle Comes to Life
It’s a special experience to get to see World of Frozen through the eyes of Jennifer and Trent! For Jennifer, World of Frozen represents a story she created standing right before her — she was impressed by the sheer scale of the land.

World of Frozen draws guests in until they believe they have truly crossed into Arendelle. Jennifer was struck by how seamlessly the environment connected — in one moment, Elsa’s Ice Palace is in the distance, then you turn a corner, and Arendelle Castle appears.

Trent said he also felt very immersed in the land! He served as an animator on the first film, oversaw animation of Olaf on the sequel, and directed the short film Once Upon a Snowman.

Trent said he found himself recognizing quiet moments throughout the land, like standing near the boat where Anna first met Hans, or noticing something like the height chart tucked into the queue of Rencontre Royale.
Tips for Your First Visit
Jennifer and Trent have different strategies when planning a first-time visit to World of Frozen.
Jennifer’s ideal day begins with Frozen Ever After, so she can immerse herself in the story right away. Then, she says you should visit Anna and Elsa at Rencontre Royale, browse the nearby shops, and then have a meal at Nordic Crowns Tavern.

Trent says you should actually start with food! After that, you should go on Frozen Ever After, then find a quiet bench to sit down, observe, and take in the smaller moments happening all around the land.
Basically, there is no wrong way to experience Arendelle! But, there is one thing they insist you experience — “A Celebration in Arendelle.”

The filmmakers shared that it made them emotional to watch “A Celebration in Arendelle,” especially when seeing Olaf. Jennifer said the experience captures Olaf’s warmth and humor so perfectly that it felt like reconnecting with a part of herself.
Trent focused more on the technical side, since he spent nearly a decade animating Olaf. After seeing him up close, he turned to the Imagineers and said, “No notes,” basically saying that he’s perfect!

What to Eat at Nordic Crowns Tavern
Food is a big part of World of Frozen! Nowhere is this more apparent than at Nordic Crowns Tavern.

Jennifer is vegan, so she appreciates the plant-based offerings and said the flavors feel rich and comforting, which is exactly what you hope for in a Nordic-inspired eatery.
Best World of Frozen Merchandise
As for merchandise, Trent said to exercise restraint, unless you find a unique Olaf! His desk has an international collection of Olafs, and World of Frozen has many chances to find one that feels special.

Jennifer had her eye on a navy blue sweatshirt embroidered with “Arendelle Authentic,” which is suspected to have made its way into her suitcase.
Hidden Details and New Songs on Frozen Ever After
Both Jennifer and Trent pointed out some details on Frozen Ever After that you should look for.
Trent loves that the attraction doesn’t stop with the first film by weaving in moments from the Disney Animation short Frozen Fever and continuing Anna and Elsa’s journey.

Jennifer noted that while music is important to Frozen, World of Frozen takes it a step further by having characters sing songs they don’t usually sing in the films, often with new lyrics!
For example, when you enter the Ice Palace, Anna sings “For the First Time in Forever,” joined by Kristoff in a way fans have never heard before.

Best Photo Spots
There are a ton of photo spots around World of Frozen! Jennifer pointed out two of her favorites — the Friendship Fountain at the entrance to the village and the bridge leading into Arendelle. They both frame the land in a way that feels both cinematic and intimate.

In fact, just as they were going to take a photo at Friendship Fountain, Oaken appeared, bringing that movie magic to life!
World of Frozen Easter Eggs
World of Frozen also has many Easter Eggs to look for. Rencontre Royale holds several surprises, but Trent’s favorite Easter egg is the height chart marking Anna and Elsa’s growth, which is a small reminder that this is their home.

Jennifer shared that Bruni actually has three different appearances throughout the land! She had only found one herself, so they set off to find more and eventually found another tucked just below the lighthouse near the water in Arendelle Bay.

Why World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris Is So Special
Seeing World of Frozen come to life is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Jennifer and Trent. It’s a real-life reflection of years of collaboration and creativity.

The world exists because of the powerful connection fans have built with the characters over the years.
Jennifer said, “It means everything to us. I feel a connection — that’s all it is. None of this belongs to us. We just get to be a part of it.”

Trent said he couldn’t help but think of the hundreds of artists who helped make this possible, saying, “The power of animation ripples around the world. It’s just cool to see that hard work and passion reach the audience. It’s what every artist hopes for — to create something that connects.”
