The Mandalorian and Grogu Celebrate Star Wars Day With a New Trailer and a Visit to ‘Good Morning America’
Nearly seven years after the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Star Wars will return to theaters in just a few weeks with the highly anticipated The Mandalorian & Grogu.
A spinoff of the popular Disney+ series The Mandalorian, the upcoming film brings audiences back to the era of the New Republic and follows Din Djarin and his young apprentice, Grogu, as they hunt down remnants of the Empire.

“The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu,” the film’s synopsis explains.
The Mandalorian and Grogu Visit ‘Good Morning America’
In celebration of Star Wars Day, Din Djarin and his young apprentice paid a visit to Good Morning America, where they shared a preview of their upcoming film.

Additionally, Disney has released a new trailer for the film.
New “Generations” Trailer
The new trailer begins with Din Djarin telling Grogu that “the old protect the young, then the young protect the old.”

The Mandalorian & Grogu
The story then shifts to Obi-Wan Kenobi meeting Anakin Skywalker for the first time.
After highlighting the relationship between Kenobi and Anakin, the clip transitions to other characters, including Rey, Luke Skywalker, and Obi-Wan with Luke and Leia.

Finally, the action shifts back to The Mandalorian & Grogu.
