Additionally, there is all-new poster artwork for the live-action Star Wars films.
The Inspiration Behind the Takeovers
According to Disney, the goal of the Star Wars Day takeover experience was to fully immerse fans in the galaxy far, far away.
“From the moment you sign in to browsing for something to watch, the franchise unfolds to guide both new fans and die-hards through the experience seamlessly,” they explained.

Additionally, the team behind the takeover wanted the new visual elements to feel true to the franchise.
Hidden Details
When asked about which design details they were most excited about, the team revealed that subtle Star Wars nods have been infused throughout the experience.

“I am most excited for fans to find the hidden motifs tucked into the design. We wanted to honor every generation of the franchise, so whether you grew up with the original trilogy or the sequels, you will see familiar faces like Princess Leia and Grogu woven throughout,” they said.
“These subtle details, paired with the fresh pop of the updated poster artwork, bring the experience to life in a way that invites longtime fans to look a little closer while encouraging new audiences to start their own journey of discovery.”
