Earlier this evening, the Walt Disney Archives took to Instagram to share a first look at the aircraft.

“On long-term loan to the museum since 2022, the aircraft interior is undergoing a meticulous, multi-year restoration to resemble how it appeared when Walt flew aboard in the 1960s.”

Based on the photos, it appears that the plane’s exterior and interior have been meticulously refurbished.
The plane was originally acquired by Walt Disney Productions in 1963 and features an interior designed with creative input from Walt Disney and Lillian Disney.
