PHOTOS: Luke, Leia, Han, and Darth Vader Arrive at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
In case you missed the news, the timeline of Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially expanded this week, ushering in a new wave of stories, characters, and experiences.
For the first time in the land’s history, the backstory has been expanded to include theming, experiences, and narratives set in the Imperial and New Republic eras.

With that in mind, Darth Vader, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker are now meeting guests at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which has also seen updates to its shops, background music, and more.
The Empire Has Arrived
While visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this afternoon, we were thrilled to see the land’s new backstory unfolding before our eyes.
Upon entering Black Spire Outpost, guests are now greeted by Imperial banners, which have replaced the former First Order decor.
Clearly, the Empire has a strong hold on Batuu.
Darth Vader Searches For Luke
While exploring Black Spire Outpost, we also encountered Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers, who interrogated guests about Luke Skywalker’s whereabouts.
Fans were understandably thrilled to see Vader make his presence felt.
The interactivity of the experience was a highlight.

As always, he was an imposing figure.
The Stormtroopers also did an amazing job of engaging with fans.
This is definitely going to be a popular experience.
Luke Skywalker and R2-D2
While Vader and his troops continued their search for Luke, we were able to find the Jedi Master near the Millennium Falcon.
Joining him was R2-D2, who interacted with Luke, guests, and his surroundings.
Luke is dressed in his New Republic outfit.
It was very cool to see the Jedi Master in Galaxy’s Edge.

Leia and Han
Also meeting guests by the Falcon was Leia Organa, who was wearing her general’s outfit.
She even talked strategy with Luke and R2-D2.

It was really cool to see Leia out and about.
Finally, Han Solo made an appearance near his iconic ship.
It was great to see the original trilogy trio together.
Clearly, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is finally embracing its biggest stars.
