New Galactic ID Kiosks Arrive at Downtown Disney’s Star Wars Trading Post
With Star Wars fans around the world getting ready to celebrate May the 4th, Disneyland Resort has come alive with new experiences, merchandise, and novelty items that will delight guests from across the galaxy.
While the big news coming out of Disneyland this weekend is that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has expanded its timeline to include stories from the Imperial and New Republic eras, that is not all that The Happiest Place on Earth has in store for fans.

While visiting the Star Wars Trading Post at Downtown Disney District this afternoon, we were thrilled to see that new photo booths had arrived.
The New Galactic ID Kiosks
The new kiosks allow fans to print their Galactic ID, an acrylic card that features their photo and profession.

In total, there are six Galactic ID designs. The first two are Jedi Knight and TIE Fighter Pilot.

Next up, we have Bounty Hunter and New Republic Pilot.

Finally, there are Imperial and X-wing IDs.

The Cost
Each ID takes about two to three minutes to print and costs $15.

Guests also have the option of printing all six designs, which takes about 20 minutes.
Long Lines
The popularity of the new Galactic IDs has led to long wait times, with Cast Members warning guests that they may have to wait between 90 minutes and two hours.

Nevertheless, with Star Wars Day just around the corner, now is a great time to get your Galactic ID.
So, if you plan on visiting Downtown Disney, make sure you stop by the Star Wars Trading Post and take advantage of the new machines.

As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Disneyland Resort.
