Halloween on the High Seas is Disney Cruise Line’s spooky (but not-so-scary) celebration of the holiday! Some of the ships get a festive makeover for the season with themed decorations, entertainment, characters, food, and more.

Disney Cruise Line Sailings with Halloween on the High Seas
The Halloween celebrations happen on select DCL sailings during the fall, usually in September and October. Not every cruise in the fall features this celebration, so make sure to look specifically for itineraries marked Halloween on the High Seas when you’re booking your cruise.

By updating your search filters to include Halloween on the High Seas as a selected experience, you can see every available sailing that includes the event.
The Pumpkin Tree Tradition
During every Halloween on the High Seas celebration, you can find a special Pumpkin Tree in the ship’s Grand Hall or Atrium. Each ship has its own Pumpkin Tree with its own name, personality, and story.

As the celebration goes on, you might experience some special storytelling moments, glowing gourds, and a Halloween atmosphere that feels whimsical, enchanted, and cozy. It’s also great for photos!

Entertainment & Activities
The entertainment gets a spooky makeover for these Halloween cruises! A favorite is Mickey’s Mouse‑querade Party, where Disney characters will be in Halloween costumes and invite everyone to celebrate with music, dancing, and more.

There will also be hands-on activities, including mysterious crafts and seasonal games, each with a Halloween twist. If you’re on the Disney Wish, you will find an additional interactive experience with “Who’s Behind the Curtain?” featuring Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus.
