Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Thanks to May the 4th, the timeline expansion at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and the return of Hyperspace Mountain, there’s a ton of galactic fun for guests to jump into!

So, to get you prepared, let’s check out all the Star Wars updates hitting the resort.
NEW Star Wars Updates – Disneyland Park
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Timeline Expansion
Tomorrow, April 29th, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park will launch its expanded timeline. Here’s what you can expect:
New Character Experiences
Courtesy of the expanded timeline, more characters will arrive in Batuu! Here’s where you can find them:
- Darth Vader: Wandering Batuu in search of Jedi, accompanied by Imperial Stormtroopers
- Leia Organa: Near the Millennium Falcon
- Han Solo: Near the Millennium Falcon, lingering toward Oga’s Cantina
- Luke Skywalker: Roaming the outpost

Of course, you’ll still be able to rub shoulders with the characters already roaming through the land. Here’s where you can find them:
- Ahsoka Tano, the Mandalorian, and Grogu: Near the Marketplace
- R2-D2: Rolling through Batuu
- Rey: On the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost

John Williams’ Scores
It’s about time for the franchise’s iconic scores to play throughout Batuu!
That’s right–John Williams’ legendary scores will debut in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge tomorrow. The themes will be pulled from the first six films. Here’s where you can find them playing:
- Tunnels of Batuu: “Main Title” and “Force Theme”
- Around the Land: “Han Solo and the Princess,” “The Desert and the Robot Auction,” “The Emperor,” and More
- Oga’s Cantina: “The Cantina Band”

Shop Updates
Select shops will update to represent the expanded timeline! First Order Cargo will transform into Black Spire Surplus, selling Imperial and Rebel artifacts from the various eras. Additionally, Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities will sell items from the past, and an earlier generation of the Mubo family will operate Droid Depot.

NEW Merchandise
The new Aurebesh Collection has already debuted in the land, featuring the Star Wars logo in Aurebesh.

The new Star Wars novelties inspired by May the 4th have already landed as well, including the Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket, the Bantha Sipper, and Lightsaber Swizzle Sticks.

Hyperspace Mountain Returns
Hyperspace Mountain has returned to Disneyland Park for a limited time! Don’t miss the opportunity to take a high-speed ride through a galaxy far, far away.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
Of course, we can’t forget to mention the upcoming updates hitting Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run on May 22nd!
A new mission will debut, inspired by The Mandalorian and Grogu, giving Engineers the new task of communicating with Grogu. Additionally, guests will have the chance to experience new adventures on Bespin, Coruscant, and the wreckage of the second Death Star.
