Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s Iconic Guitar Receives a Groovy New Look
In case you missed the news, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets will officially open on May 26, and we here at MickeyBlog could not be more excited.
For months, we have been closely following the transformation of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Over the past several weeks, we have tracked the attraction’s exterior refurbishment, shared updates on the new setlist and cameos, and even previewed Electric Mayhem performing inside the ride.
The last time we checked in, we brought you an update on the attraction’s queue props.

Now, we are back with another update, this time focusing on the attraction’s exterior.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s Stratocaster Gets a New Look
When visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios this afternoon, we were thrilled to see that the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Stratocaster has been unveiled.

With the scrim now removed, the iconic guitar is fully visible once again.

As you can see, it has received a groovy new paint scheme.

The updated look ties in nicely with the attraction’s facade, including the upside-down limo.

It also clearly draws inspiration from the Electric Mayhem.

Here is another look at the new paint scheme.

The psychedelic colors really pop.

The side of the guitar features lighter, more vibrant colors that help the design stand out even more.

Here is another angle of the new paint scheme.

All in all, the Stratocaster looks fantastic.

I, for one, can’t wait for Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets to open.
