Walt Disney World Wait Times for April Week Three 2026
With Easter two weeks ago, we’ve officially hit the slow period at Walt Disney World.
The time from now through mid-May should witness smaller crowds and shorter lines.

However, Disney has been full of surprises lately, and anything could have happened last week.
Here are the Walt Disney World wait times for the third week of April 2026.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

At Animal Kingdom, the basic truths still apply.
People head to Pandora – The World of Avatar throughout the day and stay there for hours.

Then, they visit the animals at all possible spots, including Gorilla Falls Trail, Discovery Island Trails, and Kilimanjaro Safaris.
Beyond that, the park is at low tide right now with DinoLand USA permanently closed.

DINOSAUR
A replacement will arrive next year, but until then, fans are anxiously anticipating Bluey.
We’re still a bit more than a month away from the Australian heeler pup’s debut.

Until then, it’s business as usual at Animal Kingdom. Here are the park’s average wait times:
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 63 minutes, down 24
- Na’vi River Journey – 50 minutes, down 15
- Kali River Rapids – 37 minutes, down 17
- Adventurers Outpost – 34 minutes, down 3
- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 34 minutes, down 16
- Expedition Everest – 29 minutes, down 20
- Zootopia: Better Zoogether! – 17 minutes, down 6

Overall, Animal Kingdom attractions dipped 15 minutes to an average wait of 37 minutes.
So, we are trending waaaaaay down.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios
Park officials just unleashed a torrent of marvelous news about this theme park.
We just learned that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will debut much sooner than expected.

The updated roller coaster joins The Walt Disney Studios in opening on May 26th.
So, we’re five weeks away from massive changes coming to this park.

Until then, here are the average wait times at Hollywood Studios last month:
- Slinky Dog Dash – 65 minutes, down 45
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 55 minutes, down 35

I realize that you’re probably boggling in looking at these numbers. So, yeah.
Hollywood Studios attractions averaged a modest wait of 40 minutes, which is 23 minutes less than last time.

A 40-minute average is unusually low for this park, and I think that tells the story.
Still, let’s check the other two parks for confirmation.
EPCOT

We’re not quite halfway through the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
So, the event remains the park focus and will for a while longer.

When Cool Kids’ Summer begins on May 26th – noticing a pattern? – it’ll become a huge deal, too.
For the time being, EPCOT remains the ultimate hangout spot at Disney World.

That’s 14 minutes less than last time and remarkably the smallest drop of the three parks thus far.
Yeah, we’ve definitely entered the slow season.

Final Thoughts

Ariel’s Grotto
You should have a general idea of what happened from all the drops.
Overall, Magic Kingdom guests waited for an average of 27 minutes per attraction.

That’s 11 minutes less than last time and obviously part of a bigger trend.
The four Disney World theme parks collectively dropped 63 minutes or 16 minutes per place last week.

If those totals were a roller coaster, we would have had a ton of fun going down. Yikes, that’s steep.
