‘ESPN Jeopardy!’ Is Coming to Disney+ and Hulu
Sports broadcasters will soon have a chance to test their knowledge, as Disney+ and Hulu are developing ESPN Jeopardy!.
Produced by Sony Pictures Television and Michael Davies, the new version of the iconic game show will feature ESPN personalities pitting their knowledge against each other.

Contestants will “face off to experience the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in a new arena: the Alex Trebek Stage.”
The Grand Prize
Unlike the traditional format, ESPN Jeopardy! will be structured as a tournament, culminating in a $500,000 grand prize for the winner’s charity of choice.

According to reports, the show will focus heavily on ESPN-related content and cater to dedicated sports fans.
Sports Jeopardy Is Not a New Concept
While this is a new production, it is not the first time Jeopardy! has explored sports. From 2014 to 2016, Sports Jeopardy! aired on Crackle.

That version was hosted by Dan Patrick, while the new ESPN iteration will be led by Joe Buck.
ESPN has previously experimented with game shows, including Stump the Schwab and Teammates.

At this time, Disney has not announced a premiere date for ESPN Jeopardy!, though the expectation is that it will debut later this year.
