Disney Files Two New EPCOT Permits That Point Towards the 2026 Food & Wine Festival
While spring is still in full bloom at Walt Disney World, attention is already turning to summer.
In just a few days, Cool Kids’ Summer and V.I.PASSHOLDER Days will kick off, bringing a new wave of seasonal offerings to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Earlier this morning, we shared an update on the return of H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

Now, it looks like another fan-favorite event is gearing up for its return.
Imagineering Has Filed Two New EPCOT Permits
Walt Disney Imagineering has filed two new Notices of Commencement, both tied to EPCOT.

While the filings do not include many details, they appear to be connected to the upcoming 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival.
Both permits call for the installation of new signage and assign the work to Kentavo, a contractor Disney has recently used for projects at Aloha Isle, “it’s a small world,” and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.

Aside from the contractor, there is little else to be gleaned from the permits.
What Is Disney Working on?
While it remains unclear exactly what updates are planned, more information should be available soon.
