Meet the Disney PhotoPass Photographer Who Has Captured runDisney Magic For 15 Years
While runDisney races are known for their immersive settings, imaginative courses, and rarely seen characters, they are also one of the best places to capture memorable photos.
According to Walt Disney World, nearly 3 million photos are taken each race season by Disney PhotoPass Cast Members, who are dedicated to capturing the magic.
Additionally, more than 1,000 Cast Members across Walt Disney World support each race weekend.

With that in mind, we would like to introduce Dave Devore, whose Disney journey began nearly 15 years ago.
Dave Devore’s Disney Story
After retiring from the United States Air Force, Devore followed his passion for photography to Walt Disney World.

“During my time in the service, I traveled the world, and I always had my camera with me,” Devore said. “Once I retired, I was able to continue my passion for photography here at Walt Disney World.”
Over the years, he has continued to refine his craft and is now a familiar presence at runDisney events.

Before each race begins, PhotoPass photographers study the course to find the best angles and prepare to capture each runner’s story.
“We cheer on each athlete and share in their excitement,” Devore said. “It’s a nice feeling when they run by and thank us for being there. You’re not just capturing these moments; you become a part of them.”
Receiving the Walt Disney Legacy Award
For his dedication and commitment to making magic, Devore was honored with the Walt Disney Legacy Award.
